Diane Wang is the Founder and CEO of DHgate.com. Founded in 2004, DHgate.com is the leading one-stop trade and service platform for global retailers, with over 1.9 million suppliers, serving 19 million global buyers, from 222 countries and regions, through more than 13 million product listings.
Diane started her career working for Microsoft and Cisco. She was the youngest senior manager of Microsoft China, the only female on Cisco management team.
In 1999, Diane co-founded and served as the first CEO of the first B2C e-commerce transactional platform in China, Joyo.com. Joyo quickly became the largest B2C marketplace in China, and was acquired by Amazon in 2004 as their founding operation.
In 2011, Diane was appointed as the Chinese representative to the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC), the Co-Chair of SMEs and Entrepreneurship Working Group, Chairwoman of APEC Women Leadership Forum, the first Rotating Chair of Entrepreneurs Committee of China APEC SME Alliance.
In 2016, she was elected to be the first chairman of China Cross-border E-commerce 50 Forum, and won the reappointment in 2018. Same year, she was appointed as the member of High Level Advisory Council of the World Internet Conference Organizing Committee.
